The idea of this blog is quite simple; to post any relevant information you have about things that affect the people of Kingsthorpe. Whether you're a non-profit organisation looking to make people aware of what you're up to or a business looking to raise awareness about your products, you can post on here for free. Anyone and everyone, right through to someone in the street who just wants to get something off your chest, feel free to use this blog for your needs.
It is intended to be a forum for you to communicate directly with the people on your doorstep and for ex-Kingsthorponians (if that's the right word!) to keep in touch with the latest news about their old home town.
It isn't our intention to heavily moderate this board, if you use it responsibly, they'll be no need but a word of warning, to deter any would be trouble makers. To post a comment you have to sign up to Blogspot to use this board and when you do that and post, your ip address will be logged so you can - and will - be traced. Your posts are your responsibility legally so you're only getting yourself in trouble.
If you do see something that offends you on this board, please email help@kingsthorpe.info and where appropriate, we will remove the offending article.

Fantastic idea, I can't believe that someone didn't think of this soon. I've bookmarked it now and will be back.
This is a great idea.
I am currently on a drive to get the council to do something about the speed of the traffic on Kingshorpe Grove. They are providing me with speed boards to place along the road and are sending out more mobile units. If anyone else has any ideas or wants to get involved let me know.
